Okay, I don't know if anyone on this site watched/tried to watch the AMC (American Movie Classics) show called the Prisoner. It was shown in three parts with each part being two hours long. It stared the guy that played Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings and I can't remember the other guy.
Anyway, if you haven't seen or heard of it...avoid it. I watched the whole series and I have particial sight and there was also two sighted people watching too. It made absolutely no sense to me or the fully sighted people and they couldn't even figure out how to explain some of the parts to me that I missed.
In case anyone does want to check it out, you will need either cable or satellite to watch it as its on the American Movie Classics channel and they will show parts of it beginning this sunday 11/30 at 10 P.M. eastern and 9 central time in the U.S.
Good luck and if anyone figures this thing out, let me know. It's something that would have been better suited to the sci-fi channel and not a classic movie one since this was just recently made and doesn't fit the classic genre at all.
Also, if you really need something to confuse your sighted friends with, the series will be available to purchase on dvd in march 2010.
Welcome to the village where your name is a number and you can never escape and all food is some sort of wrap sandwich.
I'm not sure if it is still up on this site, but if you go to www.brokensea.com, they did an audio adaptation of the series.
I'm not sure if it's the same as this mini series though.
At the time of this post there is four episodes.
